1937 BSA M23 Twin Port – True Barn Find – Running & Riding
The bike runs and rides. It starts and pulls through the gears as it should. ideal oily rag machine or very good basis for a full restoration.
It retains its correct panel tank and is fitted with a brass DC40 panel lamp. The bike also has the correct combination levers and period controls. Genuine Lucas 8' headlamp and MT110 rear light. new Armours high level exhausts costing £700. Re-conditioned magneto although it hasn't been cosmetically restored. Overall condition shows honest age and patina, consistent with an unrestored barn find.
lovely runnning honest machine. would require fettling and going over before serious use on the road. You rarely find machines like this anymore.
