1964 BSA A65 Lightning Rocket – Very Original, Low Mileage, Runs & Rides

A beautifully original example of the 1964 BSA A65 Lightning Rocket, still running its original 6-volt electrics and showing low mileage. It’s a genuine, unspoilt bike that’s clearly been well cared for and never over-restored — just kept in honest, rideable condition.

The 650cc twin starts easily, runs smoothly, and rides just as it should, with that lovely BSA sound and plenty of classic character. Paint, chrome, and detailing are all tidy, showing the right blend of age and authenticity.

A rare find these days — a very original, running and riding Lightning Rocket that hasn’t been messed about with. Ideal for classic runs, local shows, or simply to enjoy as one of BSA’s finest 1960s machines.
